Our Staff

Nona Powell - has been a videographer for about 5 years with BC Productions. I am 42 years old and a mother of 4. Being a mother 4 and 3 of those children are girls I know how special your wedding day is. I feel it is an honor to capture your special day.

Every wedding I capture and edit is treated as if it were my own daughter’s wedding. I take the approach each and every wedding is different. I feel strongly that music plays such an important role in your day whether it is what you choose to listen to while you are preparing for your day with your family and friends, your ceremony, or even what you play at your reception. I use only music that is unique to you and your style. For this reason I use your music tastes for your day’s memories. I select songs that I feel evoke emotion, I watch them with the video I capture on your day and see how they mesh. Rarely do I use music if it doesn’t evoke emotion with me while watching your day. I create from the heart.

I believe the final package should look as if you had your personal touch. Over the years of capturing memories I have realized after the ring, the invitation is the first personal touch your future guests experience. You spend so much time over all the little details to make sure your personal style resonates in everything people see and experience on your day. I take that personal touch a step further by using your invitation and re-create it as your DVD covers, menus and labels to infuse the months and sometimes years of planning into your finished DVD.

I can only promise that I will capture your full day and then glean from all the footage the best video moments. I will rarely stage moments or pose shots on your day. I like to be that “fly on the wall”. I like to be there and capture those moments you will want to watch over and over again.
